« Invoke’s active involvement in AFDEL and in the wider software development community dates right back to the very early days. As a member of the Board and Chair of key working groups operating out of the Paris office, it is only natural that Invoke should lend further weight to what is already an enduring commitment to furthering the work AFDEL does on a daily basis on behalf of companies like ours. We are delighted to be able to join in launching this exciting east-coast initiative, » said Rémi Lacour, Invoke CEO.

To mark the geographic expansion and launch of its presence in Boston, AFDEL will be hosting a networking cocktail reception on February 21, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm EST. The event will be held at member company TraceOne's Boston headquarters, and will feature remarks and insights from key AFDEL members as well as Fabien Fieschi, Consul General of France in Boston.

« Given the continued fast pace of technology innovation and globalization, this was an ideal time to expand our footprint to ensure we are best aligned to support the needs of our growing membership base, » said Jamal Labed, President of AFDEL.

« As the technology market continues to trend towards mobility, cloud, social, and big data, the opportunity for new and established software companies is huge and we want to make sure that our existing and future members have the appropriate resources they need to take advantage of that potential. »

Through its new presence on the east coast, AFDEL will be able to better provide support to entrepreneurs establishing new ventures as well as help existing companies to expand their networks for business advantage and form deeper connections with customers, partners and prospects.

As part of its international development strategy, Invoke continues to liaise closely with key stakeholders both at the state and federal levels in the US on issues such as administrative transparency and the use of standardized mark-up languages to track state and federal government spending. Leveraging both in-house strategic planning and the support of external groups such as AFDEL and the Data Transparency Coalition, Invoke is perfectly poised to take advantage of the significant opportunities for US expansion that are detected.
