The first semi-annual reporting deadline for Payment Statistics Data to the Central Bank Ireland passed on 31 August. Invoke are thrilled to have supported our clients through their successful submissions. Find out more about what the submission involves.
Following the first semi-annual reporting deadline for reporters on 31 August 2022, Invoke is delighted that our clients have successfully passed the semi-annual submission for Payment Statistics Data to the Central Bank of Ireland.
Since 2022, payment statistics data has been submitted to the CBI in XML format. The regulation was amended in 2020 with new reporting requirements on the submission of additional information, including new initiation channels, fraud and related data, and quarterly data for balance of payments.
The amended regulations require reporters to provide substantially more data than before, making submissions more challenging. The success of our customers in their first semi-annual submission proves the need to use a tried and trusted solution to produce reports in XML, as well as their effectiveness in extracting data and reducing errors, as all the validations are embedded in the software.
